Device for flow velocity measurements of a gas that can be ionized

Description
With the probe the components of a gas flow are determined, especially the velocity vector. It is suitable for any wind measurement including vortex winds, as well as for the measurements of turbulences in blowers. The probe has a high voltage wire at which ions are generated via a corona effects. Parallel to the wire are at least a pair of collector wires. A comparison circuit from the sum as well as the difference of the ion current for the measurement and also forms the ratio of both the values. (DG)

Mit der Sonde werden die Komponenten einer Gasstroemoeung, insbesondere der Vektor der Geschwindigkeit, bestimmt. Sie eignet sich fuer jede Art von Windmessung, einschliesslich Wirbelwinden, sowie fuer die Messung von Turbulenzen in Geblaesen. Die Sonde weist einen unter hoher Spannung stehenden duennen Draht auf, um dessen Umfang durch den Corona-Effekt Ionen erzeugt werden. Parallel zu diesem Draht verlaeuft mindestens ein Paar Kollektordraehte. Eine Vergleicherschaltung bildet fuer die Messung sowohl die Differenz als auch die Summe der durch die Ionen erzeugten Stroeme und bildet schliesslich den Quotienten beider Groessen. (DG)Files
