Description
Here, Fe ions were implanted into FeCrNi model alloy with different fluence at room temperature. Irradiation-induced defects were characterized by Doppler Broadening Spectroscopy and TEM. Large amount of vacancy type defects were formed after heavy ion irradiation. Firstly, their size and/or concentration increase with the increment of damage dose. Dislocation loops could be detected in the irradiated specimens by TEM characterization. The results show that pre-existed dislocation might suppress the formation and growth of these irradiation induced dislocation loops. (author)
