Threshold displacement energies in V-Cr-Ti tenary alloys

Description

In this work a machine learning interatomic potential based on Deep Potential model was applied to investigate the effect of alloying elements on the threshold displacement energy of vanadium-rich V-xCr-yTi (0 wt% <x,y< 10 wt%) alloys by using molecular dynamics method. It was found that the presence of substituted atoms Cr and Ti in V lattices significantly increases the effective threshold displacement energies of vanadium alloys. At the same temperature the highest increasing of the effective threshold displacement energy was observed in the alloys with stoichiometry interval of 3 wt% < x,y < 7 wt%.
