In dem Kapitel ueber experimentelle Techniken werden die Herstellung energetischer Atome, radiochemische Trenntechniken und spezielle physikalische Techniken beschrieben. Das Kapitel der Charakteristika von Hot-Atom-Reaktionen behandelt Gasphasen-, Fluessigphasen und Festphasen-Hot-Atom-Reaktionen. Das Kapitel ueber Anwendungen der Hot-Atom-Chemie und verwandter Gebiete beinhaltet Anwendungen in Anorganischer, Analytischer und Geochemie, in Physikalischer Chemie, in Biochemie und Nuklearmedizin, Hot-Atom-Chemie in Energiebezogener Forschung und Entwicklungsthemen in Bezug zur 'Heissen Chemie' sowie Zukunftsaussichten.
