Contributions of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency to the improvement of accident management in member countries
Description
The impact of the 1986 Chernobyl accident called attention to the need to improve international co-operation and harmonization in the field of nuclear accident and emergency management. The NEA is participating in this process. The paper highlights some results of work on emergency planning and public information, which have been carried out within the NEA
