Description

Commissioning and maintenance experience of some of the important pumps of steam water system for the Fast Breeder Test Reactor (FBTR) are given. These pumps were tested at suppliers' works and despatched to the site after dismantling, cleaning and reassembly. A variety of maintenance problems were faced during their commissioning and initial running. (author)
