Deuterium retention in tungsten irradiated with dual-ion
- 1. Kyoto University, Department of Nuclear Engineering, Kyoto (Japan)
Description
Deuterium depth profiles in tungsten samples exposed to deuterium plasma were observed by a nuclear reaction analysis. These samples were irradiated by 4.8MeV-W ions and 0.4 or 0.8 MeV-He ions. More deuterium trap sites were produced by irradiating He ions than W ions. However, these sites in tungsten irradiated by both W ions and He ions were decreased from irradiated by only He ions.
