From test to plan (building projects and air quality in the Netherlands)

Description
Many building and construction projects in the Netherlands could not start or finalized while those projects do not meet the regulations as formulated in the Decree on Air Quality and the European regulations for the quality of the ambient air. In this article an overview is given of the present problems, which models can be used to gain more and accurate insight into the problems and how an air quality plan can be set up
Abstract (Dutch)
Tal van bouwprojecten liggen stil omdat ze niet voldoen aan het Besluit luchtkwaliteit. Gemeenten en bedrijven laten nu in allerijl reeds goedgekeurde plannen toetsen en bedenken ad-hoc maatregelen om aan het besluit te kunnen voldoen. Realistische en gedetailleerde modellen, berekeningen en voorspellingen kunnen hen het noodzakelijke inzicht geven. Als straks de ergste paniek voorbij is, wordt bet bovendien tijd een planmatige aanpak te kiezen.
