Effects of dibaryon resonances in the γd→π0d reaction
Description
Process γd → π0d is investigated in framework of a model taking into account contributions from the impulse approximation and from the dibaryon resonances with Jsup(P) = 0+, 2+, 3-. Parameters characterizing the resonance contributions were found fitting the experimental data on the differential cross sections. The most considerable dibaryon effects are possible in the cross sections at large momentum transfers. The asymmetry in the π0-meson angular distribution due to a linear polarization of the γ quanta is very sensitive to the dibaryon resonance contribution. The account of the resonances diminishes the absolute value of the asymmetry calculated in the impulse approximation
