Sampling video-system for the measurement of the depth of welding faults from radiographic pictures

Description

The paper deals with the information transmittance properties of the process of taking radiographic pictures, as well as of a video-system operating with the help of sampling, using methods of the theory of linear signal transmittance. Utilizing the relations obtained the signal transmittance properties of the sampling video-system and those of the video-system of continual operation disclosed in a previous publication by the author are being compared.
