Description
The microstructural dependence of the magnetic properties of SQV2A steel has been investigated. Microstructures and domain structures of thermal aging and electron irradiated SQV2A steel specimens has been observed by transmission electron microscope and Lorentz electron microscope. Particles and rod-shapes precipitates are observed from the electron irradiated specimen. Size of magnetic domain of electron irradiated specimen is smaller than as-received specimen. The correlation between the microstructural and the magnetic property changes are analyzed. (author)
