Study of ψ' decays
Description
Hadronic decays of the ψ' are reviewed and a new preliminary upper limit of B(ψ' → ρπ) < 7.0 x 10-5 at 90% C.L. from the Mark III is presented. The authors observed non-resonant three pion decays in the same data sample. This result confirms the previous search from Mark II. These results are still theoretically puzzling and indicate the existence of more underlying complexity in the physics of hadronic decays of the J/ψ and ψ'. 4 figs., 1 tab
