Description
The 1989 Workshop, on ''Advanced Accelerator Concepts,'' was held at the UCLA Bruinwood Conference Center at Lake Arrowhead, California from January 9--13, 1989. This conference proceedings contains most of the invited presentations and contributed papers by the attendees. The conference addressed the following topics: Plasma based accelerator concepts and use of plasmas in future high energy accelerators, wake-field devices, radio frequency acceleration and sources, optical frequency acceleration, high brightness sources, and other novel methods for particle acceleration. The Workshop and these proceedings were supported by the Office of Energy Research of the US Department of Energy and UCLA
