Description
An analysis of the pion-proton elastic backward scattering from 5 to 90 GeV/c is presented. The data are compared with the glory model and with the baryon-exchange model: the former fits the data in a more convincing way at all energies. At plab = 6GeV/c a combined fit to the differential cross section and to polarisation data is performed, with quite satisfactory results. (author)
