Description
One-loop corrections to the scalar potential in a simple theory involving two scalar fields phi and psi are evaluated. The dependence of the renormalized coupling constants on the renormalization points phisub(o) and psisub(o) are examined. It is found that under the change phisub(o)→(1+E)phisub(o), psisub(o)→(1+E)psisub(o), the coupling constants vary according to a set of equations that are independent of the ratio phisub(o)/psisub(o). It is shown that the coupling constants are not altered if phisub(o)/psisub(o) is changed
