Description

Exotic events, observed at SPS, having a large missing transverse momentum pp-bar → j(s)ept(miss), j(s)pt(miss), are described in the framework of an extended gauge symmetry as due to production of a heavy gauge boson V with a mass of about 180 GeV/c2, which decays subsequently in the channel q-barQ, Q→qW(Z), where Q is a heavy quark with a mass of about 100 GeV/c2, and then W→eν-bar (Z→νν-bar)
