A gas microstrip detector for XAS studies in the photon energy region of 300-1500 eV

  • 1. Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxfordshire (United Kingdom)
  • 2. Daresbury Laboratory, Cheshire (GB)

Description

The ability to perform XAS in the 300 - 1500eV energy range allows measurements to be made on biological and transition metal compounds. This paper describes a detector and the technique used to perform fluorescent measurements on such materials. (author)
