Description
This comprehensive study of the South African energy sector provides policy analysis and recommendations, with detailed descriptions and data for all forms of energy. Issues such as energy supply and demand, efficiency and the environment are also examined. The IEA conducted this review at the request of the South African Government, which is preparing a new energy policy in support of its Reconstruction and Development Programme to promote social equity, economic growth and environmental sustaining.
