Convective end effects in annular linear induction pumps

Description

This paper presents a simplified theory giving the performance of an annular linear electromagnetic pump, such as the liquid sodium pumps foreseen in some GenIV nuclear reactors. End effects are taken into account with a new model enabling physical interpretation. (paper)
