Status of the installation and of commissioning of the Lhc
Description
After a quick review of the installation and assembly activities which took place during the past year, the progress of the different commissioning activities is reported. In particular the results of the commissioning of Sector 78 are given and the consolidation activities together with the finding following the first warm-up are described. The paper also gives an outlook on the activities planned for 2008 which culminate with circulating beams in the Lhc.
