For almost four years now, the G24 (OECD countries) has been involved a vast program of aid to eastern Europe. The EEC has a major role owing to its involvement in the PHARE project, which has been extended to the whole region and adapted to countries in the throes of change. Among this, the priorities of the project are energy and nuclear safety
