Self accelerating cosmology from extra dimensions

Description

We consider a brane world model incorporating spontaneous breaking of Lorentz symmetry by bulk vector fields. This mechanism leads to modification of gravitational laws at ultra large distances. The model describes self accelerating cosmological evolution. This property of the model can be used to explain the observed accelerated expansion of the Universe
