Description

Clinical and radiological examinations are routinely used to determine the degree of left ventricular impairment in acute myocardial infarction. Several studies have appeared in which correlations were attempted between chest x-rays and left ventricular filling pressure, with varying results. This report evaluates the relationship between physical examination, chest X-ray and haemodynamic data, in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by left ventricular failure
