Statistical criteria of accuracy for numerical methods of linear equation system solutions
Description
Based on the statistical nature of the problem, generalized criteria for estimation of the accuracy of solution of linear equation systems are introduced and named ''statistical sum criteria''. The criteria allow to estimate the suitability of a proper digital algorithm for the solution of a given linear problem. The criteria are also applied for the more familiar non-iterational algorithms, i.e. of the type of the Gauss schemes or conjugate gradient method. The criteria may be used to compare the informative value of experiments
