Pressure dependence of the critical temperature of superconductivity (Tc) in YBa2Cu3O7-x

Description
The pressure dependence of Tc is presented for YBa2Cu3O7-x samples which belong to the second generation of superconducting oxides with Tc above 90 K and the orthorhombic (Pmm 2) crystal structure. The superconducting transition of sintered samples (0.38 ≤ x ≤ 0.42) was indicated by resistivity measurements at pressures up to 0.8 GPa. The dependence of Tc on hydrostatic pressure is given and discussed within a standard electron-phonon BCS theory
