Black holes and gravitational waves. I. Circular orbits about a rotating hole
Description
The gravitational waves emitted by test particles in circular orbits about rotating black holes are examined. The luminosity is determined as a function of the orbital radius and the Kerr angular momentum parameter. Several typical wave forms of the metric perturbation are illustrated as they might appear to a gravitational wave detector
