ICRH system and initial experiments in the HL-1M tokamak
- 1. Southwestern Inst. of Physics, Chengdu (China)
Description
The ICRH system has been recently constructed on the HL-1M tokamak, and is operated with RF power of 500 kW at frequency of 26-36 MHz and pulse duration of 120 ms. The initial ICRH heating experiments are performed at the parameters of Ip = 150 kA, BT = 2T, ne = (1-5)x1013 cm-3 and f = 30 MHz, Using a deuterium plasma with 5% of hydrogen minority ions. Changes of impurities and edge plasma parameters are observed and a 20% increment of electron temperature is obtained
