Quantized Bertrand systems on SO(3,R) and SU(2)

Description
We analyze the quantum spherical top influenced by the isotropic torsional potential. Rigorous results for the classically degenerate Bertrand-like potentials are presented. Both classical and quantized gyroscopic Bertrand systems behave in some sense like ''superpositions'' of the free spinorial top with SU(2) as a configuration space and the corresponding Bertrand systems in R3.
