The study on the conditional containment failure probability of advanced PWR nuclear power plant in China
- 1. Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center, MEP, Beijing (China)
Description
The containment is the last barrier to achieve radioactive products contained for nuclear power plants. Conditional containment failure probability (CCFP) is an important index for evaluating the performance of containment. The history of CCFP, the meaning of CCFP are discussed in this paper, and the current situation of the CCFP for some advanced PWR nuclear power plants in China is introduced. Finally, some conclusions and recommendations are given. (authors)
