Dynamics of the poloidal magnetic field perturbations during disruption instability development in the T-10 tokamak

Description
Consideration is given to results of investigating dynamics of the poloidal magnetic field perturbations during the development of internal, small and large disruptions. It is shown that disruption instability is accompanied by perturbation excitation in frequency range from 20 to 100 kHz along with large-scale MHD plasma activity at frequencies of the order of several kilohertz. Results are analyzed on the basis of two-phase plasma dynamic model, where the regions of good confinement alternate with the regions of elevated transfer, if conditions of stability of small-scale tearing-modes are satisfied
