Description
The case for continuing with the AGR type of reactor in the United Kingdom, as opposed to the PWR (as proposed for Sizewell-B) is presented. The merits of the AGR, including performance, costs and lifespan, are outlined. The effects that a change of reactor type would have on British manufacturing and construction industry are also discussed. (UK)
