Discussion on restoring the MFW after event and reducing the CDF of QNPP
Description
According to the current design and relative procedures in QNPP, the main feed-water system can not be restored after its isolating under accident conditions, and thus there will be a larger contribution to the total core damage frequency of QNPP. In this paper, the necessity of the main feed-water recovery is illustrated with the help of a Probability Safety Assessment (PSA) model and its quantitative results. In order to initiate a widely discussion on topical studies of main feed-water recovery after accident of QNPP, the possibility of recovery is investigate and some suggestions are put forward.
