Spectroscopy and measurement of electromagnetic moments in /sup 198,200,210/Po
Description
The quadrupole coupling constants for the /sup 210/Po I/sup π/=8/sup +/, 11/sup -/, 13/sup -/ isomers in Bi have been measured, and Q(11/sup -/) = 82(2) fm/sup 2/ and Q(13/sup -/) = 90(2) fm/sup 2/ normalized to Q/sup 210/Po8/sup +/) = 57 fm/sup 2/ are deduced. In beam γ-spectroscopy of /sup 198,200/Po showed the (πh/sub 9/2//sup 2/ 8/sup +/) π(h/sub 9/2i13/2/ 11/sup -/) and vi/sub 13/2//sup 2/ 12/sup +/) isomers. The B(E2 8/sup +/→6/sup +/) and Q(8/sup +/) is /sup 198/Po to /sup 210/Po are discussed, a sudden drop is found for the B(E2) in /sup 198/Po. The B(E3,11/sup -/→8/sup +/) rises very steeply in the light Po isotopes
