Creep damage evaluation of gas turbine blade material by using SPring-8 synchrotron radiation
Description
In this study, in order to provide the way to evaluate the creep damage of gas turbine hot-gas-path components, X-ray diffraction experiments were performed for creep deformed Ni-base superalloys for gas turbine blade applications by using synchrotron radiation at SPring-8, and the relations between creep damage and X-ray diffraction data were studied. It was found that X-ray diffraction line width increased with creep time. The proposed method was applied to a retired blade in which TBC separation was observed, and found that creep damage was not caused near TBC separation region. (author)

ガスタービン高温部品にクリープ損傷が生じたかどうかを直接的に測定する手法の開発を目指し,種々のクリープ損傷を付与したガスタービン動翼用Ni基超合金を対象に放射光X線回折測定を実施し,クリープ損傷の程度を回折X線の幅広がりから推定できることを明らかにした。開発した手法を実機動翼廃却材のTBC剥離部について適用し,当該部でクリープ損傷が殆ど生じていないことを明らかにした。(著者)Additional details
