Description
The effect of annealing on the thermal decomposition of γ-irradiated 60Co lithium perchlorate and barium bromate are studied at 420deg and 300degC respectively. Annealing in each case is a combination of one first and one second order process. Pre-annealing markedly alters the influence of irradiation on the thermal decomposition viz. shortening of the induction period and enhancement of the acceleratory and decay rate constants. (author)
