The treatment of chronic knee joint synovities with radio-active isotopes
Description
On the basis of 77 cases report is given on the treatment of chronic synovitis of the knee in rheumatoid arthritis with radioactive isotopes. Gold198 and Yttrium90 have been applicated. During an obervation period up to 6 years a follow-up on 46 knee joints has been carried out. Very good and good results could be achieved in 50% of these cases. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
An Hand von 77 Faellen wird ueber die Behandlung der chronischen Kniegelenkssynovitis bei PcP mit radioaktiven Isotopen berichtet. Verwendung fanden Gold198 und Yttrim90. 46 Kniegelenke mit einer Beobachtungszeit bis zu 6 Jahren konnten nachuntersucht werden. In 50% dieser Faelle liess sich ein sehr gutes und gutes Behandlungsresultat erzielen. (orig.)Additional details
