Relativistic temperature
Description
There is an ancient controversy about how temperature transforms under boosts. Traditionally this issue has been discussed in the context of thermodynamics, however thermodynamical variables are not naturally related with space and time coordinates. Rather than using thermodynamical hypothesis, this paper describes a mathematical model of a thermometer in the context of a quantum field theory and study directly its behavior when it is moving in a background thermal bath
