Description

The symposium was held in Stockholm (Sweden), 9 - 15 June 2001. Reports involved following fundamental problems: prospects for radioactive waste management, investigations into risk control, risk control and regulations, bases for risk assessment, the role of mass media and participation of the community in adoption of complex decisions. Much attention at the symposium is given to radioactive wastes, radiation sources, risk of chemical plants and risk assessment in biotechnology. Practically all reports were devoted to relations with the community

Симпозиум проходил 9 - 15 июня 2001 г. в Стокгольме (Швеция). Доклады содержали следующие основные вопросы: перспективы обращения с радиоактивными отходами, исследования по управлению риском, управление риском и регулирование, основы для оценки риска, роль средств массовой информации и участие общественности в принятии сложных решений. Значительное внимание на симпозиуме отводится радиоактивным отходам, источникам радиоактивности, риску от химических предприятий и оценке риска в биотехнологии. Практически все доклады посвящены взаимодействию с общественностью
