An energy correction of TLD (MSO-S type)
Description
The detector or thermoluminescence dosimeter shows various sensitivity according to the radiation energy. A detector with MSO type (Mg2SiO4:Tb) of the thermoluminescent material reported in it's different characteristics by YAMAMOTO, HASIZUME and others. This paper reported the method of the measurement for the various kinds of the radiation energy with thermoluminescence dosimeter. At the same time the other thermoluminescent material was used for comparison and obtained the correction factor respectively. This method is applied in the medical field, such as in cases of Radium intracavitary therapy for uterine cancer. (author)
