Separation within the reactor protection system
Description
The purpose of this standard is to 1) determine a number of possible causes of trouble and to establish for such causes a number of regulations that are to be followed in the design of a protection system, in order to ensure that it serves its purpose in the best possible way. These regulations refer to the protection system as a whole; 2) establish demands to be fulfilled concerning the separation of cable paths within the reactor protection system. (orig./HP)

Zweck dieser Norm ist: 1. Eine gewisse Anzahl von moeglichen Fehlerursachen zu bestimmen und fuer diese Ursachen eine Reihe von grundsaetzlichen Regeln aufzustellen, die bei der Auslegung eines Schutzsystems befolgt werden muessen, um sicherzustellen, dass sein Zweck auf die bestmoegliche Weise erfuellt wird. Diese Regeln beziehen sich auf das Schutzsystem als Ganzes; 2. Forderungen aufzustellen, die hinsichtlich der Trennung von Kabelwegen innerhalb des Reaktorschutzsystems erfuellt werden muessen.
