Natural analogue support for geomicrobiological modelling

Description

In this note, the various approaches used to construct quantitative models of the consequences of microbial activity in a nuclear waste repository are discussed. Parameters and processes of major significance in such models are identified for particular repository types and, from this basis, studies of natural systems (analogues) which could be useful are suggested
