Carbon tax and development of renewable heat
Creators
- 1. Best-Energies/Debat, 36 Rue Beaumarchais, 93100 Montreuil Sous Bois (France)
Description
The authors first propose a comparative view of the application of a carbon tax in France and in Scandinavian countries (notably Sweden, but also Denmark and Finland): evolution of the carbon tax since 2011, evolution of the domestic fuel and natural gas MWh prices. They also discuss the impacts of the climate-energy contribution on prices, and the cumulative impact of the Heat Fund and of a 5.5 pc VAT. They highlight the difference between tax policy and the support to renewable heat
