Solar neutrinos and the behavior of the Fermi coupling constant
Description
The solar neutrino puzzle can be solved if the Fermi coupling constant g is assumed to vary with the gravitational potential. The number (a) of expected absorption events is lower than Davis's upper limit of 1 SNU if at the center of the Sun g exceeds its by a factor of at least 1.3. Subject headings: elementary particles - interiors, solar - neutrinos - nucleosynthesis - relativity
