Correlated D*-μ production in UA1
Description
D* production has been studied in the UA1 sample of 20,000 muon trigger events. A 2.7 standard deviation signal for D* production is observed. Both the number of D* events and the topology of the events are consistent with the interpretation that they are produced predominantly by the decay of B-mesons
