Effective ways to prevent corrosion of hydro-technical concrete

Description
The article is devoted to ways to prevent corrosion of concrete and increasing the durability of hydraulic structures. The cement composition has been modified with mineral additives from natural wollastonite, waste from fluorite ores and coal ash, and organo chemical additives from dextrin, modified technical lignosulfonate and alkaline extract of cotton stalks. These additives during the hydration of cement minerals contributed to the formation of corrosion-resistant compounds and a low-porous structure of cement stone, which increase the construction and technical qualities of concrete. Additives increased the strength, water resistance and corrosion resistance of hydro technical concrete in distilled and mineralized waters, solutions of magnesium sulfate and sulfuric acid. (author)
