Properties of alloys close to the Tl2Te3 composition in a solid and liquid state
Description
Electric conductivity, Hall coefficient, thermo-electromotive force, density and viscosity of Tl2Te3 alloys containing excesses of 0.8-5.5 at % of Te or 1.5-9.0 at. % of Te in the solid and liquid state have been measured. It has been found that the electric conductivity of the specimen increases and Hall coefficient, thermo-electromotive force, density and viscosity decrease with the increasing Tl and Te concentrations. These parameters are unaffected by the specimen's transition from solid to liquid state and by further heating of the melt
