Chemical-engineering regimes of accessory systems of the NPP with the RBMK-1000 reactor
Description
Investigations have been carried out at the NPP with the RBMK-1000 aimed at studying aqueous media of the following reactor systems: the cooling system of the control systems, the cooling system of the ''cooling'' pools, the biological shielding cooling system, the intermediate circuits of blasting after-coolers. As characteristics of the working medium use was made of the following chemical indices determining the corrosive activity of aqueous solutions with respect to system structural materials: pH value, the concentration chlorine and fluorine ions, the content of calcium and magnesium salts, various iron compounds, hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, ions of nitrites and nitrates, ions of solicid acid, carbon dioxide and oxygen. To determine the combined effect of ions most aggressive to the Ch18N10T steel the parameters of the aqueous medium have been mathematically processed. As a result the correlation equation has been obtained which expresses the dependence of the content of iron in the water on concentration of H+ and Cl- ions
