Description

Li(p,n) reactions are useful to obtain quasi mono-energetic neutron sources which find many applications in various fields of nuclear science, accelerator technology and therapeutic applications. However, the backing substrate also contributes to the output neutron spectra. In this work, an attempt has been made to generate spectrum from Li(p,n) reaction by correcting for the contributions from the backing substrate, viz. Ta(p,n) reaction. (author)
