Some electrodes and their respective coatings were studied in order to verify their compatibility with their utilization in the welding of base metals appropriate for the equipment of sugar and alcohol plants. The carried out studies include the characterization, by X-ray diffraction, of crystaline phases, existent in electrodes coatings. (Author)

Estuda-se alguns eletrodos e seus respectivos revestimentos com a finalidade de verificar-lhes a compatibilidade com sua utilizacao na soldagem de metais de base afetos a equipamentos de usinas de acucar e de alcool. Entre os estudos realizados inclui-se a caracterizacao, por difracao de raios-X, das fases cristalinas existentes nos revestimentos dos eletrodos. (Autor)Additional details
