Formation of paramagnetic centers during irradiation of potassium perchlorate-thallium perchlorate solid solutions

Description
Paramagnetic centres in γ-irradiated solid solution of KClO4-TlClO4 have been identified. It is ascertained that the change in their nature and formation efficiency correlates with the change in the anion local surrounding. In the framework of the mechanism suggested the exprimentally obtained dependence of the paramagnetic centres radiation-chemical yield on Tl+ concentration has been quantitatively described
